Bruce was a member of the society for almost 25 years and attended their shows before that. On stage and the executive, he got involved in set design, set construction, set painting, cast newsletter editor, design of publicity flyers, program designs, ticket designs, backstage help, props manager, stage manager, curtains, ticket sales, always a male chorister and a stint as society president. Probably a few other things in there, too! His interest in G&S goes back to 1952 at his North Toronto high school Northern Vocational, acting on their stage and pulling curtains. In 2006, Bruce moved from Toronto to Newcastle, so left Scarborough G&S with regrets but great memories. He tries to keep in touch at their parties. TGFP, the GO system and Judi's car!
