The Scarborough Gilbert & Sullivan Society rehearses and stages its performances in the Stan Farrow Auditorium, which is inside David and Mary Thomson Collegiate Institute (2740 Lawrence Ave. E. between Midland and Brimley.)

Thomson Collegiate is named after David and Mary Thomson who first settled in Scarborough and farmed near the present school site. This pioneer spirit is alive and well today and long-held traditions are respected by its graduates, current staff, students, and the Thomson C.I. community.

The auditorium can seat about 600 people.

Thomson is located in the middle of Scarborough on a major east-west TTC bus route. Students from a wide selection on ethno-cultural backgrounds are attracted to this small school which creates an exciting mix of the most diverse student population in all of Scarborough. Although Thomson is one of the oldest schools in Scarborough, it is proud of its state-of-the-art Science labs (new in 98), state-of-the-art computer labs, and state-of-the-art software. Computer classes use the latest technology, acquired as part of the EDNET2 (Silicon Graphics/Shaw Cable) Partnership.
